Our Menu

The Hole in the Wall’s cuisine is Canadian continental, with a Latin American influence. On our menu, every dish is a unique combination of flavours you’ll not find anywhere else.

We offer two ways to enjoy our food. You may order from our menu à la carte, or, for more variety, combine your selections within our El Presidente or El Dictador tasting menus at the end of this page. These customizable options will give you and your guests the opportunity to experience the full range of our menu.

Bocaditos / Appetizers 

Campecinos 14
Sweet prunes (4) wrapped in bacon and stuffed with 3 different  cheeses.

Higados 16
Freshly prepared spiced chicken livers sautéed in fresh lemon and butter, marinated in Latin American spices.

Beef Empanadas 14
Puffed pastries (4) filled with a delicate mixture of beef, spices, raisins and vegetables served with Pico de Gallo salsa.

Puff pastry empanadas (4) filled with speciality spice free range chicken meat.

Slices of boiled potato smothered in melted goat cheese with exotic South American spices.

Puffed pastries (4) filled with brie cheese, oven baked and topped with an apricot and GM compote.

Phyllo dough cups (4) filled with a combination of goat cheese, pine nuts and sundried tomato.

Beef Tips 16
Sterling Silver tenderloin sautéed in red wine, fresh herbs, red onion, tomato and Amarillo chili.

Ceviche 16
Fresh seafood marinated with lemon, lime, red onions, peppers, cilantro and jalapeno, the national dish of Peru.

was created at Antoine’s Restaurant in New Orleans in the late nineteenth century. Spinach, scallions, tarragon and celery on fresh grilled oysters. A tradition of elegancy. 5 oysters per order.

Mejillones 17
Fresh mussels cooked in white wine with cream, shallots, garlic and parsley.

Conchitas a la Parmesan 16
Sea scallops (5) drizzled with pisco and butter then broiled with parmesan cheese.

Camerones con Papa 15
Freshly prepared jumbo shrimp (5), sautéed with tequila, garlic and lemon on a chili Amarillo potato compote.
